Neemrana Fort Palace (Rajasthan)Neemrana Fort Palace : 122 kms South of Delhi. Neemrana Fort, located just off the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, is Rajasthan's closest palace to Delhi. Built in 1464 AD, this palace rises to nine levels and spreads over 25 acres. How to Reach : By Road : Two Hours Drive from Delhi via National Highway No. 8, Dharuhera. The Hill Fort, Kesroli (Rajasthan)The Hill Fort, Kesroli : 170 kms South of Delhi. The 14th century Hill-Fort, is the oldest heritage site in India, with accommodation facility available for tourists. Sited atop the rare, dark Hornstone Breccia rocks, it commands a splendid view. How to Reach : By Road: Three Hours Drive from Delhi via Gurgaon, Dharuhera, Kishangarh to Kesroli. Excursions : Sariska Tiger Sanctuary (48 kms), Alwar city (15 kms), Siliserh lake (25 kms) for boating during morning & evening.
BharatpurBharatpur : (Rajasthan) - 185 kms South-West of Delhi Bharatpur, also known as the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary, is famous for the bird species residing or visiting this park. Every year rare Siberian cranes come to spend the winter with a wide variety of migratory bird species. Park Access : Park is open throughout the year, is accessible on foot and by cycle rickshaws. Guides are readily available. Excursions : Agra (56 kms) and Mathura(36 kms). How to Reach : By Road: Three to Four hours Drive from Delhi via Mathura (NH-2) to Bharatpur. SariskaSariska is 200 kms South-West of Delhi SARISKA TIGER RESERVE & NATIONAL PARK, covers an area of 800 square kms and has ample wildlife and over 300 species of birds. How to Reach : By Road: Four Hours Drive from Delhi-Shahpura via Behror (NH 8), Alwar to Sariska. Park Access : Park is accessible by a jeep safari, closed from 1st July to 30th September. Excursions : Alwar city (32 kms), Siliserh lake (20 kms) for boating in the morning & evening. Fort UnchagaonFort Unchagaon is village close to Garh Mukteswar on Moradabad – New Delhi National Highway. Around 10 km short of Brijghat, Unchagaon is on left diversion off the highway. This place, Unchagaon is incidentally very close to river Ganges. How to Reach : By Road: 130 km Drive from New Delhi and 170 Km from Agra. The Fort Unchagaon stands tall as an ideal gateway to Uttaranchal. It is an easy drive beyond Hapur off the Moradabad Highway. Last few km are on the village road.
